Hello, I'm Aarti Samani

I help businesses prevent AI deepfake fraud by empowering their employees and executives. Because this risk does not just target technology, it targets people, a strong defence requires more than security systems; it demands awareness, resilience, and proactive response strategies.

My business, Shreem Growth Partners, specialises in deepfake fraud prevention. We work with financial services, law firms, SMBs, and enterprises to:

Launch ethical deepfake attacks to assess organisational vulnerabilities.

Train executives and employees to recognise and respond to deepfake fraud.

Develop a culture and thought process that is conducive to defending against AI-enabled fraud.

I am also a BBC commentator on AI, a guest lecturer at Durham Business School, and the host of Beyond The Algorithm—a video podcast exploring the real-world impact of AI.

How am I qualified to help you?

For over 25 years, I’ve worked at the forefront of deep technology—from financial services to biometric security and AI innovation. I have been a part of shaping the reality of ethical AI that serves our society.

I started in investment banking technology at UBS, Warburg, and Nomura, working on secure trading platforms. I led the team that delivered one of the first automated algorithmic trading systems in investment banking. That experience shaped how I think about risk and innovation.

I went on to lead high-growth technology businesses, including Microsoft, SwiftKey, Digital Surgery, and iProov, launching category-defining AI products such as:

Predictive text AI that changed how people communicate.

3D simulations for surgical training that transformed medical education.

Biometric authentication systems that protect against deepfake fraud and identity theft.

The work I do is rooted in resilience, something I learned through both business and life.

Living fearlessly: A 30-year milestone

At 20, I was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer—an experience that reshaped my approach to life. It focused me on risk, resilience, and the urgency of making an impact. Given a dire prognosis, I made a choice, not just to survive, but to live: to live and move forward fearlessly, with purpose.

That experience shaped how I approach uncertainty and challenge. It instilled in me the belief that resilience is not just about endurance—it’s about what we do with it. From investment banking to AI and deepfake fraud prevention, my career has been driven by a commitment to tackling complex problems that affect people and businesses globally.

In 2025, I mark 30 years since that diagnosis—a milestone that reinforces my belief in adaptability, courage, embracing the unknown, and the responsibility to use our experiences to create meaningful change.

Resilience is never a solo journey. I wouldn’t have made it through without the unwavering support of my family, friends, and medical team. The same is true in business. Operating in an uncharted territory requires strong teams, collaboration, and a shared commitment to solving the challenges ahead.

Whether overcoming personal adversity or navigating challenging business environments, my approach remains the same: true empowerment comes from knowledge, preparation, and the ability to act with clarity. Technology evolves, threats change, but when people are equipped with knowledge and the right mindset, they are unstoppable.

If you are curious about my journey through cancer, you can read about it here.

20 years old, in the middle of treatment, unsure if I’d see my 21st birthday—
but choosing to smile, choosing to live fearlessly.

Resilience is never a solo journey. My parents stood by me through every moment, showing me that love and support are as much part of the healing process as medicine is.
